The course, the Independence Program, was intense and beneficial. I refer to it as an Adult Continuing Education Course on steroids. If you want to start your own business, the Independence Program gives you up to date information. In addition, I was able to get my questions answered while taking the course. Everything about writing a business plan and what is essential to creating a successful company is included.

There are many different aspects in running a business and in this course I learned the following: marketing, management, accounting, research/development and strategies on how to obtain the capital needed to start my business. Overall, if you are eager to learn and want to gain from taking a course, this is the one course I would suggest. Thanks for the opportunity to have the experience. Eric S (West Virginia)
When I signed up for the Independence Program I wasn't sure what to expect. The only thing I was sure about was that I wanted to be able to learn the skills to run a business sufficiently from start up to expansion and everything in between. After completing the Independence Program, I now have the confidence that excites me about my future owning my own business and working for myself. Bobby W (Maryland)
I started with nothing except a desire to own my own towing
business. While I was incarcerated, I had the opportunity to take the Independence Program. One of the key aspects that I learned was how to repair and establish my credit. Six months after I started, my credit score was over 700 and I had a $30,000 line of credit. When I was released from prison, I started my towing business. Three years later, I own three trucks and I just purchased a $400,000 home.
Thanks to the Independence Program, I did all of this legally. Tony T.
I owned a cab company but always wanted to expand into real estate. Using the information taught in the Independence Program, I was able, in just under four years, to own twenty houses with a net worth of over one million dollars, free and clear.
